Pro-Lite's goniophotometers perform angular analysis of light sources and displays. We offer five distinctly different flavours of goniophotometer tailored for specific applications. Our far-field goniophotometers are used to test vehicle lighting and road signs. Our near-field goniophotometers are designed for evaluating flat panel displays and luminaires. Our source imaging goniophotometer is used to generate Radiant Source Model files for ray tracing and optical design. Goniophotometer - Near-field for Displays

Radiant Imaging's PM-FPMS combines a motorised goniometer stage with a ProMetric CCD imaging photometer to perform a near-field analysis of the view angle of flat panel displays. With the PM-FPMS you determine the spatial luminance and colour uniformity of the display for one angle at a time.

Goniophotometer - Near-Field for Luminaires

The PM-NFMS from Radiant Imaging combines a motorised goniometer stage with a ProMetric CCD imaging photometer to perform a near-field angular analysis of the luminance and colour from LEDs, luminaires and solid state lighting. ProSource software then scales this to equivalent far-field luminous intensity data from which standard photometric files are generated (IES, EULUMDAT).

Goniophotometer - SIG Source Imaging

The SIG series from Radiant Imaging are state-of-the-art source imaging goniophotometers. These are used to perform precise, near-field measurements of the luminance and colour versus angle from individual light sources (lamps, LEDs). This is the instrument that we use to generate the industry-standard Radiant Source Model files which are used in optical design and ray tracing.

The Imaging Sphere from Radiant Imaging is an innovative, ultrafast goniophotometer for instananeous angular analysis of light sources, and displays. With the Imaging Sphere, you measure the light distribution for all angles at a time for one spot on the display.
