Manual Micrometers & Fine-Pitch Screws

MS & MSD series micrometers are based upon hardened and precisely-ground spindles and conform to DIN 863 and feature hardened steel balls embedded in their spindles as thrust pieces. All of which make them particularly well suited for precision translation over defined distances. The FGS series fine picth screws provide similar precision when a knowledge of the working distance is not required.

FGS Series Fine Pitch Screws

FGS series fine-thread screws have precisely finished spindles. The fine-thread screws differ in the pitch, the fastening thread as well as in thier travel which varies between 3 and 35mm. For applications with limited space, the fine-thread grub screw with hexagon socket FGS6-4 is available.

MS Series Micrometers

MS series micrometers have travels between 6 and 50mm. Measurement drums and bushings are matte chrome plated making the graduations clearly visible. The graduation scale is 5 µm (MS 6 and MS 9) and 10 µm (MS 12).

MSD Series Differential Micrometers

MSD series differential micrometers have travels between 15 and 25mm and 0.5µm scaling for fine positioning adjustment. The thimble and sleeve are matte chrome plated making the graduations clearly visible.
