December 2010: Pro-Lite has announced the launch of the OPTA family of optical tables and breadboards. Sometimes you simply can’t afford to compromise on stability, but at the same time your research budget means that you demand good value for money. Pro-Lite now has the perfect solution with our OPTA family of optical tables, traditional metal breadboards and vibration isolation supports.

OPTA table tops are available with either a magnetic or non-magnetic stainless steel top plate and a choice of steel honeycomb or a mineral core with high stiffness and density. The top can be supplied plain or with sealed M6 mounting holes on a 25mm grid. A variety of standard table sizes is available, up to 1.5m wide by 3.0m long, while custom sizes and shapes are available to special order. Table support options include rigid legs without vibration isolation or an elastomeric support system for enhanced vibration isolation. For the ultimate in isolation, pneumatic support and active stabilisation options are available. Meanwhile, if all you need is a stable surface for your experiment, OPTA stainless steel breadboards are a cost-effective solution.
