Stable, diffuse reflectance from 250-2500nm

Spectralon reflectance standards provide stable, diffuse reflectance with levels from 2 to 99%. They are used to calibrate spectrophotometers, BRDF scatterometers, spectroradiometers and reflectometers in the 250-2500nm range. Compared with ceramic tiles which are characterised by a glossy surface, the diffuse nature of Spectralon standards simplifies measurements by removing the effect of viewing or illumination geometries. Spectralon is thermally stable, durable, washable and waterproof.

Spectralon reflectance standards are available calibrated or uncalibrated; calibrations are performed in an 8°/hemispherical geometry (specular included) traceable to NIST. The certificate supplied lists spectral reflectance from 250-2500nm and we also include a CD with spectral reflectance reported every 1nm. Standards are available individually and in boxed sets in 1.25 and 2.00 inch diameters. Pro-Lite also encourages enquiries for custom Spectralon reflectance standards - very often we are asked to provide non-standard sizes or boxed sets with non-standard levels of reflectance.
