Spectroradiometers
A spectroradiometer functions in a similar way to a photometer or colorimeter but measurements are performed spectrally and the photometric and colorimetric properties are computed. For narrow band sources such as LEDs, discharge lamps, CFLs and LCDs, a spectroradiometric measurement yields much more accurate results. Also, spectral measurements are the only way to determine the colour rendering performance of a light source. From Labsphere, we offer a modular system of integrating sphere spectroradiometers that can be configured - and reconfigured - for measuring the flux, intensity or irradiance of LEDs and other light sources. The JAZ LIght Meter from Ocean Optics is a portable, self-contained spectrometer system configured for measuring the spectral irradiance, illuminance and colour of light sources. From Konica Minolta, the CS-2000 is a spot spectroradiometer for measuring the luminance and chromaticity of displays.
