The UV-2000S sample preparation starter kit gets you up and running and ready to perform in-vitro sunscreen SPF and UVAPF testing. The kit contains everything that you need to prepare a sample with the exception of PMMA substrate slides. Pro-Lite recommends PMMA plates made by Helioscience - the HD2 type for Colipa UVAPF testing and the HD6 variety for regular SPF and Boots Star Rating measurements.

The UV-2000S starter kit contains all of the consumables that are recommended in the 2007 COLIPA UVAPF and 2008 Boots Star Rating methods. Also included in the kit is a guide to proper sample preparation, created and tested by Labsphere experts in an effort to assist in establishing a correct standard sample preparation process for in-vitro SPF testing throughout the industry.
